There are wide variety of skills and techniques that teachers use to keep students organized, orderly, focused, attentive, on task and academically productive. Classroom management calls for the teacher to organize and manage the class, keep a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and maintains discipline.
To be an effective teacher, one has to learn to inspire the students, must know when to be firm and when to leave students on their own. The teacher must be flexible and change his/her role according to activity or situation without being dominant or leaving the students uncertain.
