I have learned about two productive skills which are speaking and writing. People communicate for the following reasons;they have some communicative purpose,they want to say something,they want to listen to something and they are interested in what is being said.A teacher must incorporate some of these reasons into lessons.Accuracy activities which are part of the study phase focuses on producing the correct language.Fluency activities which are part of the activate phase focuses on allowing the students to experiment and be creative with language. Accuracy and Fluency activities are equally important.
