This unit focused on the conditional tenses and reported speech. As with the previous tenses, it is important to teach students for form and usage of each tense. With reported speech, it is important that students pay attention to the tense, time references, pronouns, here and this.
I learned how to break down the conditional tense into pieces as to be able to teach and explain the tenses to students. The overall idea that I took away from teaching reported speech was to go piece by piece to report all the pieces correctly.
