Unit 13 deals with the teaching of pronunciation and phonology. The unit claims that pronunciation is largely ignored by most teachers because they simply do not think it is a big deal. However, many students consider pronunciation a big part or motivation behind learning English. The unit gave nice examples of how to teach intonation, stress, and phonetics. It also provided fun activities for practicing pronunciation and phonology.
