This unit looks more in-depth at lesson plans, discusses the rationale behind using lesson plans, gives tips for writing effective lesson plans, and even includes sample lesson plans and activities. I appreciate having the sample lesson plan concerning animal vocabulary; in addition to the template, it helps to see the sequence that the teacher follows. Having a smooth sequence of steps in a given lesson will be my biggest concern when I first start teaching, so it helps to have this sample and the timings that are given for each step of the lesson.
