In this unit, I learned what qualities make a good teacher. I learned the types of teaching styles I might perform and the strengths and weaknesses of each of these styles. Also, these styles might be interchanged dependent upon what the needs of the class may be. The unit described the age of a learner and how that might effect their learning styles in varying ways. I learned the levels of fluency of individual students based on their age and fluency range. Finally, the unit described potential reasons a student might find to motivate their language learning.
