This unit was useful in the sense that it continued on from the previous 'Present Tense' unit. I learnt more about; Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect and Past Perfect Continuous tense. I think I learnt more about these in context of the Present Tense unit. I also enjoy reading the 'sample activate stage teaching ideas', there is a wide variety which can be tailored accordingly depending on future classes i teach. These ideas will help me with lesson planning.
