This unit has taught me that good classroom management is as important as knowledge of the subject, in this case teaching the English language. Good knowledge of the subject is not enough if bad class control is not allowing students is not allowing a teacher to impart their knowledge. The unit has taught me that classroom management also comes in many forms, student confidence, student respect for the teacher and others in the class, minimal or no disruption and maintaining student interest. These skills can be learned by the teacher, but I think mastering them comes with experience.
