In this unit, I learned evaluating and testing students. The evaluation can be given at any time at the beginning, middle, and end of the course. This evaluation allows the teacher to place the student in the class which will best suite that students EFL needs. This evaluation can be done through a number of different tests. The unit describes such tests and divides them among placement tests, diagnostic tests, practice tests, and external exams. The unit then describes the various external exams are given to students and for what purpose the students would need to take these exams.
