This unit focuses on testing and evaluating students. It talks more about the importance of tests and proper evaluation, the different types of tests that are conducted inside a language school and outside of it, and the different certificates one can attain through passing external examinations. I found it quite informative, although I have studied about and passed some of the external examinations back when I was studying translation and interpretation. This unit helped me realize the different types of tests and their application. The provided placement test is very useful.
