In the first lesson the teacher was looking bored and uninteresting, he just taught the class without making sure his students understood what he was teaching, his study phase was without examples and it didn't incite the enthusiasm and excitement in the classroom. The students in the second lesson were eager to learn and to provide examples when asked. They weren't intimidated by the teachers appearance or mood which made them all very active to contribute in the class participation.
