First and foremost, I have learnt about the importance of the relationship between being a good teacher to good learners. Being interactive and engaging as well as sensitive to each students needs.
I found the roles of the teacher in the classroom interesting; especially thinking about when it is appropriate to step into each role and how to apply these methods during a class.
Understanding the differences between young learners and adult learners, as well as the individual learner; their motivations, learning and life experiences & behaviours, will also make a difference to how these roles are carried out in class.
It's important to understand both points of view; of the student and my role as teacher.
