I have always been good at grammar, especially as I wanted to study English at university, but this was a very useful refresher and good summary of some of the key pitfalls. I find the English language fascinating with some of its simplicity with, for example, regular verbs and yet its complexity with the amount of exceptions that exist. I appreciate how confusing this can be for those learning English as a foreign language. I was however pleasantly surprised that having studied French and Spanish grammar also helped me describe some of the different tenses because those languages tend to have more variations therefore making it easier to distinguish between tenses.
