This unit provided oversight into the materials to be used when teaching ESL and to not blindly follow course books and that you have to be open to using other materials and incorporate that into the set syllabus in order to improve your students' learning capability. I found it very useful as to my approach will be different now, I will make sure to add to the given material i receive from the school as this unit explained that in the perfect world that material would suffice but in reality the workbooks need to be supplemented to fit more students than the intended majority.
