The unit made an overview of what is important to consider when preparing lessons in regards to teaching speaking and writing skills. I particularly appreciated the paragraph on creative writing and ways to encourage it, as I think it is a very effective way for students to practice writing and to gain confidence in it. The topic of using games in the classroom also was useful for gaining new ideas to pique students' interest.
