This unit did a good job in depicting a positive learning experience and a negative learning experience. The first class showed how a negative teacher attitude can actually control the atmosphere of the class. It sets an atmosphere of confusion and uncertainty. The students seem to not be certain in their capabilities. They weren't given the needed feedback from the teacher that helps them to know if they have learned or progressed. This could lead to a disinterest and a low motivation to learn. The second class had the opposite effect. In fact, it seemed the students participated more and tried answering questions even more. I think too, that this was because the teacher set a no-judgment atmosphere that empowered the students.
