This unit looks at potential problems in typical ESL classrooms and different solutions that the teacher can use to help solve these issues, such as how to engage unresponsive students and how to address differences in levels between students of the same class. Much of this unit is similar to advice that I would expect to see in my music education classes, for problems listed in this unit are similar to problems that typical music teachers face in their classes: unresponsive students, balancing students of different levels, how to maintain a positive environment, and so on. The goal for me now is to adapt what I know, continue to study ESL material, and synthesize my own fusion as I gain experience in the classroom.
