I enjoyed this unit, it is interesting to learn about different methods and how each can be broken down and applied through different techniques depending on the circumstance.
I learnt about ESA and how to balance a lesson with a range of activities, wether it be a straight arrow / boomerang or patch work lesson. I enjoyed reading through the breakdown of each of these areas; Engage, Study, Activate, and learning about ideas within each phase! I like how, within reason, these areas can be a little bit creative for both the teacher and the learners, and how maximising student talk time is a top priority.
I also learnt how to differentiate corrections and errors, and that is it important to give the student/s the chance to correct these first also that a little bit of praise is equally important.
