Continuing from the previous unit; teaching the receptive skills, we focus more on productive skills; speaking and writing. I found it interesting that writing is so neglected.
There are so many activities; controlled, guided and creative. It seems that incorporating all 3 within a lesson would be most effective in terms of stimulation and keeping things interesting, as well as understanding students individual needs and the specific task at hand.
I understand that writing is more difficult; the English language is complicated with words been spelt and spoken multiple ways, it is good to be reminded of this, and learn ways around it e.g games! Keeping things moving and interesting will be important in these lessons.
