After reading this chapter I learned the tense system causes students a lot of difficulty. In the English language we have twelve tenses, which is much more than many other languages. It is extremely important for the teacher to be well knowledged on this subject. Moreover, if the teacher is well studied, they can teach and respond confidently. Furthermore, activities that encourage students to communicate using different forms of tense, will help increase their language skills.
