This unit further helped me to understand the differences between receptive and productive skills. It explained that the productive skills are speaking and writing. These are activities that allows us to give or produce information. Also, we see that in writing certain aspects are more prominent such as: punctuation/layout, spelling, and handwriting. These things are visual and can't be seen when speaking.
