Why is grammar important in our career? Why do we need broaden our vocabulary? When I graduated in college and about to enter the corporate world, I was assessing myself if I am equipped enough because I knew, my English was not good enough. I can speak,I can write, I can understand the language but was not sure enough of my grammar. My vocabulary was not that wide. Simple English. I need to get out of that inferiority, with much efforts and practice,I did it.
Grammar is important because it is the language that makes it possible for us to talk about the language. From simple word to group of words and form into a sentence. From simple sentence to group sentences to make a paragraph. This is when we can now express ourselves fully well. It would be easier to construct a sentence when one knows the meaning of the words one is using. Forming a grammatically correct sentences would not be hard if we know its use or functions.
This unit gave ESA methods that would guide and help me prepare lessons that will meet the needs of the students.
