The unit lays out the different functions and roles of both teachers and students, thus helping in the understanding of where each stands in a classroom. I was able to properly put words on concepts that have been intuitive in my teaching experience until now, namely what I should be aiming to convey through lessons and to what particular aspects I have to pay attention to, especially in regards of the type of students I will be facing.
