This unit is very helpful especially for new teachers because it gives you an understanding of what the job is for teachers you have to be a manager, observer, participant, organizer, and assessor. (That is a lot of job titles). I like the overview for what a good student or a good learner should be. Knowing what motivates a student and what might throw a students motivation off is very important. The common European framework was definitely very helpful because I never did understand how they came up with those levels A1 to C2. Usually, in America, I believe we just have beginner, intermediate and advance.
