In this unit, I was shown two separate videos of classes conducted by the same teacher and students. In the first video, the lesson was unfocused, and the teacher didn't seem to have a good report with the students. Also, in this lesson, the teacher didn't clearly define the language he wanted to elicit and so the students seemed bored and confused. In the second video, the teacher seemed to have a better rapport with his students. He also was able to clearly describe the grammar points he wished to elicit from the class. Finally, in the second video, he was able to clearly direct the students and elicited more student talk time.
