This unit was about all the tenses in the PAST. It was structured the same way as for the present tenses unit. It is a trickier unit because of all the small détails regarding the past tenses: the use of two auxiliaries verbs "be" and "have", the choice to make in a sentence concerning the tense : past perfect or past continuous depending on what we want to express. f it seems natural for an English speaking person, the past tenses may appear more complicated to explain to non-native speakers or even compared to the present tenses. All the more reasons for the teacher to be careful about the explainations and the activities, maybe with the help of a timeline that can be completed throughout the lessons.
