As an introduction to the course material this was highly effective. The subject matter clearly outlines the general roles of a teacher while also allowing for ambiguity as every situation is different. In addition, it encourages course participants to think of teaching as the student activity and ensures that a teacher understands the requirements of each student and makes the necessary changes to the approach if required.
