There are many teaching methods (the lexical approach, the silent way, community language learning, task based learning, audio-lingualism,grammar translation.....). In my opinion each class room will be different and unique and it will be up to the teacher to choose which methods are more suitable accordingly to her students weaknesses and strength, culture and age. Main points to keep in mind will be the fact that students as much as possible should be in contact with the language, have a positive environment in class without stress, students should be encouraged to discover the language by themselves.
