In this course I learned the various past tense forms. A useful bit of information that I learned, which I had never realized before, is that simple connection between the terminology of each verb form. For instance, all continuous forms (past, present, and future) contain "to be" and the -ing form of the verb. This makes it much easier to remember the terminology for me. Other useful parts of the unit include common mistakes (such as the omission of 'to be' when using the past continuous) and activity ideas (such as playing matching games to learn the irregular verb endings).
