This unit has helped me to understand the usage of the present tense and its many forms. This unit has helped me to break down and analyze each phrase and identify the form of present tense that is being used. I believe that this is very important for teaching, because although this grammar comes naturally for me (since English is my native language), for my students it most likely will not feel natural at first for them. For me to understand the grammar and how sentences are formed fundamentally, I can then help my students understand these building blocks. The students will in return, be able to profoundly internalize the English language, rather than soley relying on memorization (which could also result to being impossible).
