In this unit (Unit 07) Pointers on teaching a new language are given.
Teaching a new language is not an easy task.
One must make an evaluation based on various factors one of which would be the level of knowledge of the language.
I would use a test to understand the level of the class as a whole or of the individual student.
Once the level has been established then I would plan the lessons accordingly.
I like the methods illustrated in this unit. There are a variety of activities which encourage the students to practice what they are learning or have learned.
