This unit was about classroom management and everything that goes with it from eye contact, to gestures, to how to position yourself when writing on the whiteboard, to how to arrange your classroom. A lot of this was not new to me, as I am currently a teacher in California and feel a lot of this was taught to me over and over in my training and is also good teaching practice or common sense. That being said, there was some new information that I learned in this unit. Such as, the pros and cons to whole-class, student, and pair work and how student's English language levels will not determine how to maintain proper discipline.
