In this lesson, I learned about the advantages and challenges I could face when teacher special groups. I learned that when I am teaching a group of professionals that I should analysis the group before I start teaching them. For professionals in the business world they might need English for telephone conversations or for emails. Before teaching a group of professionals, I need to know how they will be using English in the workplace so that I can plan my lessons around what they need for their job. For example, if my group of professionals uses English on the telephone. I would have lessons focused on language used in telephone conversations. This lesson was helpful to me because it is important to know the challenges you will face when teaching a certain group of students.
