This unit exposed me to the possible needs of teaching various groups that I may come across as an English teacher. It helps me to feel prepared to address several different types of groups. It is clear that each will have unique needs and potential problems and it's helpful to have this unit to expose me and equip me to deal with those needs successfully. Many of the teaching techniques taught early in the program will prove vital with all of these groups as it continues to stress the need for patience, preparation and hard work.
