This unit discussed various parts of speech. Although the unit did not go into great depth on any one, it gave a good summary overview that will be a basis for the upcoming units. Having studied English grammar before, there was little new information for me(for which I am thankful!), but I did find it helpful to both review grammar rules and orient myself to the specific terms this curriculum uses for parts of speech. The unit also gave some helpful tips on how to explain grammar concepts to students.
