This unit was about the present tenses, which are very challenging for teachers to teach and students to learn. This is why this chapter was so beneficial, as I learned many new things about the tense system. I already was aware of both the present and past tenses, as well as the different forms and usages. However, I was able to brush up on forms and usage in order to better help my students and was not aware of present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. I also learned about some typical student errors with present and past tenses and how to activate or provide samples for stage teaching ideas.
