In this unit I learned about teaching phonetics. The alphabet is something I've seen before but did not know the alphabet, I can see how this would be useful for teaching students how to pronounce words. The intonation was something new for me as well. I had not previously thought about intonation but changing the intonation definitely changes the meaning of the sentence. The stress of each sentence also changes the meaning of the sentence.
