This unit is about how to teach vocabulary, grammar structures and functions. It focuses on what students need to know, and what would be the best way to create lessons using the ESA approach. It also states the most important things students should do when learning a new language, which are: exposure to the language, understand its meaning and how its constructed and the ability to practice it. I think the ESA approach is really useful because its dynamic, and the several variations are helpful when planning a lesson.
