I learned about the four forms of present tense verbs and, most importantly, the distinction between present perfect continuous and the present continuous. The PPC is focused on the activity that has been taking place while the PC focuses on the completed action. I also enjoyed learning some of the different activities. I learned many new strategies such as having the students interview each other about what they have and haven't done. I also thought I could have each student give me a paper with something that have done that is interesting and then I could create a worksheet using those and they have to go around and ask people "have you ever" and the others have to respond "I have" or "I have not."
