Writing a lesson plan has a few important functions. They are: aid to planning, creating a working document and the class progress record. Every lesson plan should be simple, readable and include a smart timing flexibility. There is no special way in which a plan must be written so my lesson plan can contain side information about the group, such as quantity of the students, their names (I need it sometimes) and any personal preferences.
