This unit covered qualities of a good teacher and a good learner as well as the levels of language learning. Different ages of learners was also covered.
What struck me as I read is how varied the ages and stages students can be in! Teaching five year old kids would be quite different from business men who know some English. I know this sounds pretty obvious, but I guess I had one thing in mind and hadn't considered the wide variety of English learning students. A good English teacher needs to be very attentive to his or her students' needs and also flexible and creative to meet those needs while maintaining students' interest and enthusiasm.
