The final unit of the course has described some of the common problems language teachers often encounter in their working life. Strategies for dealing with these problems were detailed, along with useful examples.
I felt the information on the first lesson, classes with students of different levels, large classes and reluctant students to be particularly useful. All of these situations can be pretty daunting to an inexperienced teacher.
In all of the situations described in this unit a healthy dose of patience, humour and organisational skills would be required.
