In this lesson, I learned about modals, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. Modal auxiliary verbs can be used to express differing degrees of formality. The passive voice is mostly used when the speaker wants to avoid providing information that the he or she does not know, or does not want to share. I also learned about three different types of phrasal verbs. They are intransitive, transitive separable, and transitive inseparable.
