This unit focused on issues that may arise in the classroom. It focused on the first lesson, different group levels, large classes, reluctant students, use of native languages, as well as a few others. It gave a very clear overview of issues that may arise from each of these groups as well as solutions. Especially useful for me was the first lesson information. Oftentimes, I've been asked to come into a pre-existing course with all different levels and I sometimes have difficulty with my middle school level courses. These students tend to be in cliques and it's been hard to always build rapport. This unit gave me some ideas for this issue.
