Unit #17 served as an overview of different classroom equipment and teaching aids. It covered a variety of tools, from dictionaries, resource books, and whiteboards, to tape recorders, cds, and overhead projectors, to interactive whiteboards, videos, and online resources. While some of the technology and websites listed are now outdated, this lesson taught me that teachers have access to many useful teaching aids. As technology progresses, that access will only increase. Teachers need to learn how to use the tools at their disposal to optimize their teaching.
