In this unit I learned the various approaches to teaching language. Of the various methodologies, there was emphasis on the ESA approach in which you 'Engage' students by stimulating their interests and curiosity, then 'Study' where the language necessary to lesson is practiced, and finally 'Activate' where student apply their newly acquired knowledge. There are variants to ESA approach. I also learned the importance of feedback, correction, and praise.
