This unit provides an introduction into creating a lesson plan and reasons why it is beneficial to have one in order to have a structure. It is mentioned that eventually when a teacher is more experience and comfortable he/she can use the lesson plan more as a guidance and recording tool. The experienced teacher can then stay responsive to student’s feedback and adapting the lessons accordingly. The example lesson plan and ESA exercises are also provided, which is a helpful starting point for less experienced teachers.
