In this unit I learned that there are many, many more rules for speaking and writing language than I had previously thought. The difference between the types of nouns, for example; common and proper nouns, is something native speakers instinctively know but needs to be explained to language learners. We also covered the more in-depth aspects of sentence structure like how using compairative or superlative adjectives can create a better/the best understanding of what is ment.
