This unit is important because it provides the backbone of what lessons are based around. If you have boring materials, then your lecture will not be a success in getting the students interested in English. I have taught with many different books for English, and have always put effort into providing extra crosswords or supplementary games to help motivate the students even more, as I know how much pressure they’re under to learn a new language. My favorite lessons are centered around holiday themes, which is when we can do extra crafts and games to understand more about western culture, and continue with their spelling skills.
