This unit was trickier than I thought it would be. I never thought about reported speech as being a topic to teach ESL students but now I understand why it is necessary. I am still a tad confused about the construction of some of the reported speech sentences and will review the material accordingly. I did not know the technical breakdown of the different types of conditionals. This course has been eye opening for me in terms of presenting the English language from the unique point of views of learners and teachers.
